Horses : the best way to travel and discover a country.
Cap Rando, since 1987, a team fond of travels, nature and horses, offers a large variety of rides in south-east of France. The trust and fidelity of our riders prompt us to create new itineraries every year, and to go out of our borders. Our speciality : the Inn to Inn horse trip, which allows to discover a large variety of landscapes. Cap Rando, one of the first organiser of horse trips in France, offers frequent departures as well as a large choice of dates and itineraries.

Travels know no borders and no limits. This is why Cap Rando has decided to offer, on top of its own rides in Provence, other horse trips destinations in France and abroad. Twenty years of experience and “savoir-faire” in the organisation and creation of horse trips, has allow us to select very competent partners in France and abroad. These partners offer horse trips of very good quality, in a similar spirit as the one our friends and faithful riders have enjoyed on our own rides.
Thus, the Cap Rando agency offers three kinds of products :
- Cap Rando "Organisation": gathers all of our own rides in south-east of France. You will meet again our whole team as well as our horses, our faithful travel companions
- Cap Randos "Sélection France" : gathers our partners and friends organising trail rides in other parts of France. You will canter on the Camargue or Normandy beaches, enjoy the sun of the Riviera or of the Alpilles, taste the famous Bordeaux wine, admire castles and villages of Périgord, and discover the Loire region.
- Cap Rando selection Etranger : gathers our parners and friends beyond our borders. Outstanding trips and dream-like destinations. Friendly and competent guides as well as “professional” horses, calm and reliable, will show you their country and their culture.

You will ride an average of five hours everyday. The pace will vary according to the terrain. During the ride, we advise you to take care of your horse, in order to get to know him better, and to create a special relationship with him. At lunch, our assistant will prepare a substantial buffet. A “pastis”, a glass of red wine (don’t abuse it !), a barbecue by a mountain stream, a refreshing salad, a nap before leaving again : as many small pleasures which will add to the friendliness of our rides.

In the evening everyone meets around a nice table, to discover local food. Accommodation is in guesthouses, Inns, or small hotels according to rides. There can also be a choice of either rooms or dormitories. We select our accommodation according to their beautiful setting and friendly atmosphere, for riders to enjoy a pleasant stay.

Guides are certified, and are friends who made a job of their passion. They apply themselves toshare this passion and the pleasure of trail riding. Whether on the Alpes or on the beaches of Camargue, amongst odorant thym, rosmary and lavander, our guides insure riders safety in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. All our guides speak English.

Our travel companions ! We will live at our horses’ pace ! Our horses are Spanish or barb mix, adapted to trail riding. Well balanced and wilful, they live in a herd, outdoors, and only trail ride. They are our guarantee for a relaxing and safe ride.
Our saddles are designed for trail riding and allow a laid back style of riding.

In order to make the most of the ride, we require riders to be at ease with walk, trot and canter, in outdoor riding. For riders willing to discover the pleasures of trail riding in a more progressive way, we have created the “Taste of Provence” ride : a stationary ride allowing guests to become comfortable with the three gaits step by step.
Groups are made out of 6 to 12 riders. This limited amount of riders – often rich of several nationalities – allows each person to make the most of the trip.

You are a group of 6 riders minimum : we are at your service to organise any ride you wish, in any parts of France and abroad. You can also choose the kind of accommodation you would like (hotels, Inns, guesthouses, dormitories, camping,…).
